  • Of all God’s inventions (and he has quite a few), my most favorite is the voice.  Each new person I meet or hear, it is always so interesting to hear their voice, because they are all so very different.  I’m always shocked that there was another voice, because the fact that I can’t imagine a new voice in my own imagination always makes me think that the varying number of voices is going to run out someday.  But time and time again I am always surprised to hear a completely unique and individual sound come from a newly met person.

On another note, I think I’m going to have a murder mystery party at the reception to my wedding.  All the people are already there and dressed up, why not add characters and a crime to it to top it all off?

This night is finite so why not have a fine night?

  • well.. as long as the murder mystery involves some knight running around drinking all of your punch and eating lots of chocolate cake…. i’m all for it :)

  • wow. i really love your imagination, its so refreshing…

yes, i just started taking up dance classes, even though I have been dancing on my own pretty much since forever ago. i like to choreorgraph my own praise dances and thought that maybe some classes would help me refine what i already have. the school i go to is not performance based, which would probably be more inviting to you because then you wouldn’t have to worry about peformances…personally, i like being on stage, but its fine.

i was reading the comments from your other post and i noticed someone commented on homeschooling…are/were you homeschooled? I was. I currently graduated from a public school. It was my second time in P.S. since 2nd grade…

of which class are you a graduate? (or will you be a graduate of?)

  • you know…one voice says “you do not need your picture” and other voice says, “yes you do”. i like that picture even if taht hurts me…..take care of it….i will come get it when i need to.

  • I, too, am a fan of Finding Nemo. It’s so unnervingly deep. One doesn’t expect that kind of profound thoughts from a fish cartoon. Alas, you just can never judge a book – or movie – by its cover.

Glad you enjoyed the post. I assuredly enjoyed writing it.

  • planning your wedding already?  haha, but no, really, that’s a funny idea.  it might, however, take away from the focus of the gathering, but I’m not denying it would be fun!

  • saw you came by my site, just wondering if i knew you

  • Your posts are quite humorous and insightful

  • I find it funny that people mix up my voice and my son’s voice frequently on the phone … soon his will change, but at the age of 12 people confuse us …. God’s inventions are amazing, I have to add, as a mother, I am amazed at his invention of people, each unique with their own bag of gifts and quirks, all that he loves … and all that I am to love …. I enjoy your musings

  • Phil, how was the wedding in Buffalo?  Have fun at choir camp??

On a different note, have we met?

  • hmm… yes, Athens. I know of Athens. I experienced the block party last year actually. I’ve been reading some of your stuff. It’s got innocent, good-humored-by-memory/family/good intentioned-bias thought. I like it. Annnd I’m going to look at this comment tomorrow and think “what the heck was i talking about!?”…

  • but phil! we are playing! so disciple shouldn’t even have to matter… haha just kiddin..

  • Poptart you say? I’m personally rather fond of the red ones…. I haven’t had one in many an age though. Rather unfortunate.
