  • A Mural of Thoughts

It is better to pray for someone than to tell them you will do so.

Some days are “holidays” and thus on that day people think about the significance of that day.  But since everyday is automatically Reality Day, people ought to always be thinking about the meaning of the place they are living in.

A pet peeve is something that annoys you, and therefore everyone’s biggest pet peeve ought to be pet peeves.

People in general reason for the view they want to believe.

A person who has discovered how to fix the world need not convince others that it is the right way to fix the world.  If they have found how to fix the world then what they should do is fix it.

Everything first exists without a name, but then we will add a word onto it.  This is a dangerous enterprise, for people then tend to continue using the word while the meaning originally behind it slowly vanishes.

Some think of their life as the main event, and think about God as if he were a character in it.  But the true format is that the universe is God’s story, and we are the characters in it.  It is a problem of priority.

Of all the matter in the universe, only a select few capsules of skin on planet earth have been granted the privilege of thinking, but once in this position man cries out, “I don’t want to think about it!”

  • Yes, and Amen:

“If they have found how to fix the world then what they should do is fix it.”

“But the true format is that the universe is God’s story, and we are the characters in it.”

  • Wow, you did a great job.  Reality day is not my favorite holiday, I will admit, but since it comes around so often, finding a way to deal with it is always best.  Better to pray than talk about praying.  You got that one right.  Perfect.

  • I’ve heard it said like this:  Be the difference you want to see in the world.

These are all very  good, sir.  And isn’t God AMAZING??!!  How can a person be a witness to this magnificent Creation, and believe that it all just appeared by some whimsical moment of happenstance?  “The universe IS God’s story”, and should be read at every given opportunity.  He’s always unfolding a new chapter…

  • You poor thing… having to live with an Anne of Green Gables fan club in the midst of your own home. And when I say that, I really do mean it. I was another member of the fan club and I can tell you honestly that the whole thing went way out of hand. Mainly because Anne of Green Gables was the first book that I truly got into and Anne Shirley was the only girl in literature who I could actually have a connection with. Naturally I was obsessed. Other girls and I began the A.O.G.G.S. (Anne of Green Gables Society). It all went downhill from there.

Gilmore Girls… I will have to say you’d be a superior authority on that subject. I’ve only seen a few episodes.

I would suspect that even after you “leave and cleave” you will still have to watch such things with the future lady of your life.

Excellent mural of thoughts above. The second from last thought was extremely well put and profound. “All the worlds a stage” rings true…

  • AWESOME!!!!  These quotes are so right on it, that I don’t have any words that could add to them!!!  Awesome!  Simply Awesome!!!
