  • Love and life

You cannot view a thing correctly unless you love it.  This is true for life as a whole.

Therefore do not think, “Should I love or should I seek truth?” for they are one and the same.

I could never begin the list entitled “Things I’ll Miss” for I would never be able to end it.

What a world.  Blink and you’ll miss it.

  • Could a thing be an idea? So I cannot view abortion correctly unless I love it? Hmm…

Did you copy and paste this? The spacing seems off.

  • True indeed, but I also wonder if viewing things through the lens of love can be another kind of bias… Sometimes detachment may make us see objectively as well.

The thought was a rebuke to myself for recent bitterness and cynicism about things in life.  It’s really referring to things that deserve love … so no, not abortion.  I could have added that … it just would have been a bit more windy.

Have you read Blue Like Jazz? If you have, it’s like how Don starts to like jazz music when he sees the saxophone player playing for 15 minutes with his eyes closed.  In a way only sax player had the true view of jazz.

Loving something unlocks your eyes to see it better. Especially with people.

And yeah…I’m not sure how the spacing got messed up. Thanks though!
