• Graceland

  

   

  What a winter graceland this is
  Walking within these swirling mists

   

  My heart is alive and open
  To the glimmer beyond the frozen
  
  Where fiery explosions find their berth
  And giant clouds surround the earth
  
  Snow swallows our life whole
  And finds in us a hidden home
  
  Creatures dance across the sky
  I watch my life from hidden eyes
  
  Will I escape this wonderland?
  Could anyone ever understand?
  
  I’m not concerned with drowsiness
  From the light within this cloudy mist
  
  For ships sail toward the snowy sea
  Where I hope my life to forever be
